New b4 Console perspective "Automation Manager" has been introduced within the b4 V7.1 SP1.

This functionality offers you a set of tools for creating, editing, managing and deploying checkpoints to multiple b4 Virtual Clients.

Virtual Clients often use the same automation, so instead of creating a nearly identical recording you can define placeholders in the Placeholder Parameter View.

These placeholders can later be used instead of actual values on Action Properties or Checkpoint Properties. Placeholders can also be used when parameters need to be changed, without rebuilding and redeploying.

From the Automation Manager, it is possible to deploy records directly to the existing checkpoints or add the record to "New Checkpoint Service" in the deployment wizard and rename it subsequently in the Object Manager.
